Color through the Seasons
Cindy's topic "Color through the Seasons" was illustrated with slides from Gilberg Farm's, and other gardens she has visited throughout her career in horticulture. Cindy is knowledgeable about a wide variety of new and well known perennials. Her slides were very informative and took us from early spring through winter. Cindy also gave us ideas on techniques she uses to get the most from perennials in her gardens. She shared information on using "dead-heading" to prolong the blooming season, and "tip pruning" to achieve a fuller plant, decrease overall height, delay bloom time, and strengthen the plant's growth habit.
Thanks Cindy's...your tips and techniques will be invaluable as we develop and maintain our gardens.
