Lynn Slackman

Biography for Lynn Slackman,

Lynn Slackman currently resides in Shiloh, IL with her devoted husband Dick and their trusty dog Tabby who oversees most things at the Shiloh Estate. They have an acre and one-half of ground on the flat prairies and farmland that is next to a small lake/pond. From spring daffodils to autumn crocus, something is always blooming until the cold frosts of winter.

Lynn has been a docent at the Missouri Botanical Garden for 18 years. Her duties consist of providing public tours and special event tours during the weekends. Lynn is also one of the past presidents of the Greater St Louis Daffodil Society, an active member of the American Daffodil Society, an active member of the Mid-America Regional Lily Society, and the North American Lily Society. In addition Lynn is also a volunteer with the North Garden Horticulture group at the Missouri Botanical Garden, and received the 2014 Volunteer Dedication Award for regular, faithful, and conscientious service.

Members of the Greater St Louis Daffodil Society are thrilled that Lynn has found time for a presentation about her journey with Lilium in her garden.
